Congrats Gators!

Just finished watching the Gators beat out Oklahoma in the national championship. Tonight's game was great for several reasons:

1. Good time with great guys

2. Playing Settlers of Catan while watching the game

3. Tim Tebow. Yes, he's an awesome player (he's got a Heisman trophy to prove it), but what I think is most impressive about him is his heart. He claimed in an interview that no other team this season would play as hard as Florida, no other player as hard as himself, and they proved it. He's shown his heart on the field - playing hard, finishing a high school game on a broken leg, and now leading his team to a national championship. Off the field, he talks about Christ, encourages his fellow players, goes on mission trips, and has even spent time living and working in both an orphanage and a leper colony in the Philipines! Impressive for anyone, let alone a 21 year old college student.

He very clearly knows what he's living for, and is making the most of his time. It makes me think about whether I'm being wise with how I spend the time that I've been given...
