The Old Me

I hope that if I'm ever old and have to be in a nursing home, I'm still able to blog. Could be tough... I'd need to be mentally and physically able. Unless of course by then they invent a keyboard that types based on what you're thinking. That'd be sweet! And then I'd only have to have a brain that still functions... Anyway, I think you could gain a lot of wisdom from an old man who (hopefully) still has some joy for life and yet is getting well into senility...

What day is it today again?! Oh yeah, Tuesday. Hmm, ravioli for lunch and turkey for dinner. Or was turkey on Friday? Oh well. Jimmy and the kids should be showing up today with the new chrome rims for my chair. I just hope they don't stay long. What is it with them, keeping up this charade? We both now it's just as uncomfortable for me to have them around as it is for them to be here! Besides, Those rims oughta be light enough that I'll finally be able to beat Carter down the hall. We'll see who the ladies have their eye on after today's race!

I'd've had him, if only my hip hadn't gone out! Next time...

Regardless, me and Chuck are going on a dentures run later today. Those things get some serious dough on the black market! All the little kids around here will believe anything...

'How much do you get from the tooth fairy for just one measely tooth? $5?!? Imagine what she'll fork over for an entire set of teeth!! You could finally get one of those game-z-cube 10-90 systems or whatever the heck they are.'

Yep... we're gonna be rich!!

Whoa-ho!! Today was Debbie's first day, and that new nurse is
fine!! She can't possibly be a day over 60.

You know the best thing about everyone in the world thinking you're losing your mind? You can get away with pretty much whatever you'd like! Debbie comes back tomorrow... Perhaps I'll 'accidentally' forget to tie the back of my gown tomorrow... >:)

...

Well, now that I think about it, maybe it'd be better if I didn't blog till I die...
